Solid construction with carpeted floor

Made of wear-resistant solid steel, the safe provides rugged reliability and long-lasting strength. Inside, the safe’s soft carpeted floor provides an extra layer of protection to ensure your jewelry, heirlooms, or other delicate items are protected from scratches or damage.

Reprogrammable digital access + 2 override keys

Equipped with an electronic lock, the AmazonBasics security safe provides quick setup and easy operation. After installing four AA batteries (not included), reprogram the safe with your unique passcode. To open the safe, enter your passcode using the keypad, then turn the handle clockwise to open the safe door.

Two emergency override keys are included, making it possible to open the safe and access your valuables even if you forget your passcode or if the keypad’s batteries run out.

The digital display has three different icons to indicate locked, unlocked and low battery.

*Note: The safe is shipped unlocked. To open for the first time, use one of the two override keys provided.

2 direct door screws and resistant concealed hinges

In addition to the electronic lock, the security safe features two live door deadbolts, a pry-resistant steel door, and pry-resistant hidden hinges. These relevant design elements help prevent intruders from accessing the contents of the safe. The black exterior gives the safe a beautiful look that coordinates with anywhere in the home or office.

Adjustable interior shelf and mounting hardware

Adjust the cabinet’s interior shelf as needed to organize smaller items, or remove it all together to accommodate larger items. The shelf is placed on rails attached to the inside and can be easily removed.

The AmazonBasics Security Safe design also allows it to be easily installed on the floor, shelf, or wall (when supported below). Four screws are included for this purpose. Installing a security cabinet adds an extra layer of deterrence, and all necessary mounting hardware comes included.
